The total number of COVID-19 recoveries has risen to 51,213 after another 1,369 people have recovered from the illness.
Health Protection Agency (HPA) said that from 6 p.m. yesterday to 6 p.m. today, 1,369 people recovered from COVID-19 raising the total number of recoveries in the country to 51,213 with another 17,461 people still in treatment.
In the same time frame, 317 people have tested positive including 217 people in Male' area and 148 from the atolls. HPA did not clarify numbers in terms of locals and foreigners.
So far, there have been 189 COVID-related deaths in the Maldives that includes 174 locals, 15 foreign nationals.
