President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih is set to hold a press conference today at 4:30 p.m.

Spokespersn of the President's Office, Mhamed Mabrook Aziz said that the press conference is being held to provide the latest updates on the COVID-19 situation.

The last press conference by the President was two weeks ago; on 25 May 2021. The previous press conference by the President, held virtually, went on for one and half hours and ended without every journalist present allowed to ask a question.
