The total number of COVID-19 recoveries has risen to 48,086 after another 753 people have recovered from the illness.

Health Protection Agency (HPA) said that from 6 p.m. yesterday to 6 p.m. today,753 people recovered from COVID-19 raising the total number of recoveries in the country to 48,086 with another 19,670 people still in treatment.

In the same time frame, 412 people have tested positive including 219 people in Male' area and 162 from the atolls. HPA did not clarify numbers in terms of locals and foreigners.

So far, there have been 185 COVID-related deaths in the Maldives that includes 170 locals, 15 foreign nationals.
