The total number of COVID-19 recoveries has risen to 41,779 after another 828 people have recovered from the illness.
Health Protection Agency (HPA) said that from 6 p.m. yesterday to 6 p.m. today, 828 people recovered from COVID-19 raising the total number of recoveries in the country to 41,779 with another 23,909 people still in treatment.
In the same time frame, 704 people have tested positive including 407 people in Male' area and 271 from the atolls. HPA did not clarify numbers in terms of locals and foreigners.
So far, there have been 171 COVID-related deaths in the Maldives that includes 157 locals, 14 foreign nationals.
