The total number of COVID-19 recoveries has risen to 35,365 after another 744 people have recovered from the illness.

Health Protection Agency (HPA) said that from 6 p.m. yesterday to 6 p.m. today, 744 people recovered from COVID-19 raising the total number of recoveries in the country to 35,365 with another 25,419 people still in treatment.

In the same time frame, 1,299 people have tested positive including 779 people in Male' area and 487 from the atolls. HPA did not clarify numbers in terms of locals and foreigners.

So far, there have been 150 COVID-related deaths in the Maldives that includes 136 locals, 14 foreign nationals.
