The total number of COVID-19 related deaths in the Maldives has risen to 151 after another two locals have passed away today.
The first COVID-related death today was a 56-year-old local man who passed away at 2:41 a.m. at the Hulhumale' Facility.
The second death was that of a 79-year-old local man who passed at at 7:55 a.m. while being treated in the Emergency Room at Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH).
While the COVID-19 death toll in the Maldives has reached 151, they include 136 locals and 14 foreigners.
The country reported its first COVID-related death on 29 April 2020.
