Another COVID-related death in Addu City has raised the total number of COVID-19 related deaths in the country to 145.

Health Protection Agency (HPA) said that a 91-year-old local man being treated at the COVID management facility in Addu passed away at 10:20 a.m. this morning.

The most recent death marks the second COVID-related death on Addu City.

Maldives reported its first COVID-related death on 29 April 2020.
