The total number of COVID-19 recoveries has risen to 32,322 after another 510 people have recovered from the illness.

Health Protection Agency (HPA) said that from 6 p.m. yesterday to 6 p.m. today, 510 people recovered from COVID-19 raising the total number of recoveries in the country to 32,322 with another 23,464 people still in treatment.

In the same time frame, 1,559 people have tested positive including 1,135 people in Male' area and 401 from the atolls. HPA did not clarify numbers in terms of locals and foreigners.

So far, there have been 129 COVID-related deaths in the Maldives that includes 116 locals, 13 foreign nationals.
