The total number of COVID-19 recoveries has risen to 31,812 after another 615 people have recovered from the illness.

Health Protection Agency (HPA) said that from 6 p.m. yesterday to 6 p.m. today, 615 people recovered from COVID-19 raising the total number of recoveries in the country to 31,812 with another 22,421 people still in treatment.

In the same time frame, 1,960 people have tested positive including 1,518 people in Male' area and 431 from the atolls. HPA did not clarify numbers in terms of locals and foreigners.

So far, there have been 123 COVID-related deaths in the Maldives that includes 110 locals, 13 foreign nationals.
