The total number of COVID-19 recoveries has risen to 30,403 after another 759 people have recovered from the illness.
Health Protection Agency (HPA) said that from 6 p.m. yesterday to 6 p.m. today, 759 people recovered from COVID-19 raising the total number of recoveries in the country to 30,403 with another 20,276 people still in treatment.
In the same time frame, 2,194 people have tested positive including 1,698 people in Male' area and 467 from the atolls. HPA did not clarify numbers in terms of locals and foreigners.
As per HPA, out of the 2,194 cases being reported today, 691 cases are positive cases from samples collected between 6pm of 19th May and 6pm of 20th May.
So far, there have been 114 COVID-related deaths in the Maldives that includes 101 locals, 13 foreign nationals.
