Maldivian aid has helped to power electricity at the main hospital in Gaza City, the Al-Shifa Hospital in addition to aiding 90 displaced families in Gaza City.
The Al-Shifa Hospital is the main hospital located inside Gaza, which has been under a blockade by occupying Israeli forces. The hospital is currently being utilised to treat those who are being injured during the ongoing airstrikes by Israel.
Due to power cuts hindering electricity supply, the International Aid Campaign (IAC) had provided 2547 liters of fuel to the hospital.
In addition to this, IAC has provided USD 100 for 90 families who have been displaced due to the bombings.
