The total number of COVID-19 recoveries has risen to 28,013 after another 341 people have recovered from the illness.
Health Protection Agency (HPA) said that from 6 p.m. yesterday to 6 p.m. today, 341 people recovered from COVID-19 raising the total number of recoveries in the country to 28,013 with another 15,666 people still in treatment.
In the same time frame, 1,007 people have tested positive including 793 people in Male' area and 183 from the atolls. HPA did not clarify numbers in terms of locals and foreigners.
As per HPA, out of the 1,007 cases being reported today, 821 cases are positive cases from samples collected between 6pm of 14th May and 6pm of 15th May.
So far, there have been 94 COVID-related deaths in the Maldives that includes 83 locals, 11 foreign nationals.
