President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has said that the people behind the terrorist attack on former President Mohamed Nasheed will be identified and brought to justice.

Addressing the nation on Thursday, the President noted that the occasion of Fitr Eid comes at a time of grave concern for all Maldivians.

Speaking about the terrorist attack, he wished a speedy recovery for President Nasheed as well as others present on the scene who were wounded during the attack.

The President noted that Justice will eventually catch up with the people who carried out the attack and the people behind the attack.

Three suspects have been arrested in connection to the crime. They are; Mujaaz Ahmed (21), MA. Feyruge, Thahumeen Ahmed (32), Folheymaage, GA. Kondey and Adhuham Ahmed Rasheed (26), Hiyaa, V. Thinadhoo.
