The government has stopped issuing driving licenses to new drivers.

Transport Ministry said that they have stopped issuing new driving license for land vehicles to first-time applicants as a protective measure regarding the COVID-19 situation in the country that has gotten worse.

With the situation getting, the authorities have implemented new measures including the closing of government offices and resort to services online.

Issuing driving license had been paused before as well which lead to protest at the Transport Ministry.
