A new board member has been appointed to board of Public Service Media (PSM) along with a new Managing Director to the Maldives Tourism Development Corporation PLC. (MTDC).

The President of the Privatization and Corporatization Board (PCB), Mohamed Nizar, just confirmed the news to One Online.

Nizar said that new board member assigned to PSM is long time Sun Media employee, Ali Midhath. He said that new Board member Midhath had been in charge of Sun’s TV Station.

The President of PCB informed that the new Managing Director of MTDC is Thazmeel Abdul Samad. Nizar said that Thazmeel had worked for four years at the Ministry of Home Affairs during the previous administration.
