General Affairs Committee of the Parliament has ruled to align the current Parliament term's holidays with the school holidays on the new academic calendar year.

The change was passed by bringing changes to the article 26-A subsection 2 of the Parliament Regulations.

Committee decision says that the second term of the Parliament this year will be from 16 May to the end of June and the third term would be from 16 August to the end of November.

Article 26-A subsection 2 of the Parliament Regulations currently states that the second term of parliament will be from June to August while the third term is from October to November.

The Committee said that the change will reduce the number of working days of Parliament in the second term and keep the same number of days in the second term however, the total number of working days for the Parliament per year remains unchanged.
