Popular football player for the Cardiff city FC Emiliano Sala has disappeared on a plane.

The Argentinian player who gained his fame during the English Premier League matches. The plane was enroute from Nantes Airport in France to Cardiff Airport in Wales. The last point of contact was with air traffic control towers in Bailiwick of Jersey. There was reportedly no communication of an emergency or incident at this time.

The flight that disappeared was reportedly carrying a total of 2 people.

While the search has been conducted for the flight, there is currently no new information at this time. While rescue teams are reportedly searching the area of the last point of contact, the MET Office informed that the weather was “not too bad” at the time of last contact with the plane.

Sala had been travelling to Cardiff for a training session with the team. The football player had tweeted a picture with the members of his previous time prior to boarding the plane. The tweet had been titled “The Last Goodbye”.

The 28 year old striker Emiliano Sala had signed on to Cardiff City FC for a record £15 million.
