Minister of Foreign Affairs, Abdulla Shahid has made an official visit to Kuwait to improve relations between the two countries and discuss strengthening bilateral relations.

Minister Shahid is set to meet with his counterpart, Foreign Minister and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs of the State of Kuwait, Dr. Ahmad Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, and other senior officials of Kuwait during the visit to discuss on-going development cooperation projects, as well as relevant bilateral and multilateral issues and priorities.

The Foreign Minister is accompanied by the Secretary, Multilateral of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Maldives, Dr. Hala Hameed, Director at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Maldives, Moomina Ibrahim, and the Assistant Director at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ahmed Salman Zaki.
