Bank of Maldives has set their opening hours during the month of Ramadan this year from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.

An announcement made by the bank today said that the bank will be opened for three hours and 30 minutes during Ramadan and the first seven days of the consecutive month of Shawwaal. However, the self-serving banking services via ATMs will be available 24 hours.

BML said that overseas transfers submitted before 11 a.m. will be processed in the same day. And cheques from other banks submitted before 10 a.m. will be processed in the same day as well. And cheques submitted after that time will be processed the next day.

General banking services will be available as before via cash agents at the atolls, according to BML. And the queuing for bank services in Male' City will be done via the QueueBee app.
