Health Protection Agency (HPA) has revealed that the Maldives have now begun administering the second dose of the Covishield Vaccine.

In a tweet on Saturday, HPA said that they have started to administer the second dose of Covishield vaccine today for those who received their first dose between 1st and 4th February. Second dose of the vaccine is currently being administered in the Male' region.

Health Minister Ahmed Naseem previously revealed to "One" that while administering the second dose of the Covishield vaccine have begun, the first dose of the vaccine will be discontinued in Maldives indefinitely.

Vaccination Center fo 2nd Dose:

- Social Center (10:00am to 3:00pm)

- Vilimale' Youth Center (10:00am to 2:00pm)

- Hulhumale' Vaccination Center (10:00am to 3:00pm)

- National Art Gallery (10:00am to 3:00pm)

- Senahiya (10:00am to 3:00pm)
