The Parliament Administration has said that the Speaker of the Parliament, former President Mohamed Nasheed will be meeting the press tomorrow regarding the the review report by the Parliament Committee on National Development and Heritage on awarding flats under the government's housing policies and Hiyaa Project.

The report from the Committee that raises a number of issues in awarding flats and suggestions on how to resolve them, was published today.

According to the report, agreements need to be made with the flat winners and hand over the properties before the end of this month. And if any issues are raised regarding the permanent list of the flat winners, the Housing Ministry will be looking in to them.

The Committee report said that the electrical work is currently ongoing at the flats but the work was delayed due to an unexpected problem which caused delays.
