Current Speaker of Parliament and Jumhoory Party (JP) Leader Qasim Ibrahim has said that he will offer his full cooperate to President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih, provided that future proceedings are in accordance with the Constitution and previous agreement.

Qasim spoke at an event signing new members to JP and said that the party will offer its full cooperation provided that all proceedings go in accordance with the promises and pledges made under the Constitution and laws of this country.

Qasim said that the party is prepared to keep up their end of the pledges. He gave his full confidence that JP will cooperate with President Solih in fulfilling pledges, provided that they are  within the limits of Islamic jurisprudence and the country's constitution. He stressed however, that this was only under the condition that all goes according to the Constitution and previous pledges made to JP.

Qasim said that while President Solih will receive full cooperation from JP to fulfill the presidential pledges, he also does not want to see the party become a minority and get thrown out in the process.
