Dhaalu Atoll Hospital has said that there are no positive cases of COVID-19 so far among the people who have been tested among those traveled out if Kudahuvadhoo since 26 February.
Health Protection Agency (HPA) has ordered that those who traveled out of Kudahuvadhoo since 26 February 2021 to be tested for COVID-19 and quarantine for 14 days after a number of employees at the Kudahuvadhoo Airport tested positive and started to spread in the island.
Sharing the latest on the Kudahuvadhoo cluster, the Atoll Hospital said that people who traveled to Kudahuvadhoo from five islands in the atoll all tested negative.
A large number of people have gone in to home quarantine following the Kudahuvadhoo cluster with 216 people in home quarantine from Maaembudhoo alone.
So far , over 260 samples have been tested from Kudahuvadhoo with 30 people testing positive with more samples pending results and on the way to the capital for testing.
