Waste Management Corporation (WAMCO) has cleaned Laamu Atoll Fonadhoo removing 450 tons of waste from the island.

The company said that the cleaning of the Fonadhoo island was part of their project to clean and collect waste from the islands.

WAMCO has been cleaning the waste disposal sites and other areas where waste has been gathered as part of the project.

They said that 85 percent of clean up at most of the islands have been completed.
