Thief who stole from restaurant sanitized before leaving

A thief who stole from a restaurant in Male' City last night has fled after sanitizing the table.

The person who leaked the CCTV footage of the masked thief leaked on social media said that the culprit entered the business at 4:25 a.m. the night before.

The masked thief only took the petty cash and sanitized the table with the sanitizer at the restaurant before leaving, according to the person who uploaded the video.

It is believed that the thief attempted to erase his fingerprints on the table and remove evidence of his crime.

While many videos of such crimes are making its way to social media, some believe that this video stands out because the culprit did not take anything else and used the sanitizer.
