Judicial Service Commission (JSC) has started investigating a disciplinary issue of the Chief Magistrate at the Raa Atoll Innamaadhoo Magistrate Court.

JSC said that Chief Magistrate Ali Nasheed is being investigated following a complaint report of unacceptable behaviour was sent to the Committee deciding on an investigation.

An investigating committee has now been established according to the JSC.

While Magistrate Nasheed is being investigated, on 24 February, JSC announced that they are investigating reports against 17 Judges.
