The Meemu Atoll Muli airport development project has been contracted to eh Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC).

This project is valued at MVR 22.1 billion to be completed in one year.

Muli airport development project entails land reclamation in addition to the current claimed area by dredging along with the development of a 1,200 meter runway, terminal building and building other resources for the airport.
