A fire has erupted at the powerhouse of Thaa Atoll Veymandoo.

The Veymandoo Island Council has confirmed the fire incident to One Online. ..however, no further details are available at this time as the Council and member of the public are working to control the fire.

A man who spoke from the island said that there had been no reports of an injury so far.
