Former President Mohamed Nasheed has won the MDP primaries which were held to determine candidates for the upcoming 19th Parliamentary race of Maldives.

President Nasheed ran in the MDP primaries for the Mid-Machchangoalhi Constituency against Aishath Alaika Adnaan.  

The incumbent results show that Nasheed gained 267 votes while Alaika gained 52 votes.

The total amount of members who voted for this constituency is 325 people, out of which 319 votes were valid and 6 invalid.
