Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has said that they have mobilized the second phase of the Kaafu Atoll Hinmafushi harbor development project.

MTCC said that the project site was mobilized yesterday to start the second phase of the project.

The project contracted to MTCC on 29 December 2019 entails a harbor of 28,760 cubic meters, an outer sea wall of 38 meters with large gravel, 287 meters of revetment and 172 meters of inner sea wall.

It also entails 772 square meters of pavement and the installation of port lights and 11 harbor lights.

The Hinmafushi harbor development project was contracted for MVR 24.6 million.
