Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has said that the road development project at Raa Atoll Ungoofaaru is well underway.

Taking to Twitter this morning, MTCC said that the equipment need for the tarmac phase of the project has now been mobilized to the project site.

Ungoofaaru road development project entails tarmac, ABC layering and the subgrade work at an area of 16,488 square meters along with a water drainage system.

The project to develop the major roads of the island to the modern standards was mobilized in June 2020. The project was contracted to MTCC for MVR 28.66 million.
