A no confidence motion has been filed at the parliament against the Science and Technology Minister, Mohamed Maleeh Jamaal.

The motion was filed by the Leader of the MDP Parliamentary Group and MP for Mid-Henveiru constituency, Ali Azim. MP Azim said that the President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih was notified with a letter before the motion was filed.

Presenting the motion, MP Azim said ha the current government is not a MDP government but the President got elected on the MDP ticket and filing for a dismissal from his cabinet without notice is not something he would do.

A No Confidence Motion was filed against Minister Maleeh after some MPs have called for his dismissal regarding the expensive internet in the country.
