President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has returned to Maldives this morning after concluding his official visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

He had departed on the official visit on Sunday night.

President Solih visited the UAE by royal invitation of His Highness, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of Armed Forces of the UAE.

The President had taken part, at the Inauguration of the Sustainability Week events and presented an award at the prestigiuos Zayed Sustainability Award ceremony as well.

Several officials of President Solih's administration accompanied him on this visit. This included the Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdulla Shahid and the Minister for Environment Dr. Hussain Rasheed.
