Changes have been brought to the opening hours of parks in Male’ City.

Male’ City Council revealed that changes were brought to the open hours of Lonuziyaaraiy Park and Sultan Park. As such, both parks will now open from 5:00 am till 8:00 pm and from 5:00 pm till 8:00 pm.

Previously parks in the city opened from 4:30 am till 9:30 am and from 4:30 pm till 9:30 pm.

Male’ City Council noted that the changes were brought in light of the recent rise in COVID numbers. Since last Sunday, Maldives had been reporting daily cases above 100.
