Fenaka Corporation has been contracted to install 400 kW backup generators and synchronized panel boards in Haa Dhaalu Kulhudhuffushi Reginal Hospital, Ungofaaru Regional Hospital in Raa Atoll and Dr. Abdul Samad Memorial Hospital in Gaafu Dhaalu Thinadhoo.

At a ceremony held at the Health Ministry yesterday, the agreements were signed by the State Minister Ahmed Adhil and the Managing Director of Fenaka Corporation, Ahmed Saeed.

The Ministry said that the agreement entails acquiring and installing 45 KVA backup generators and panel boards within here months that would be used if the main power generators on the island fails.

The agreement for the Thinadhoo Hospital work was contractor for MVR 3.4 million while the Ungoofaaru Hospital work was contractor for MVR 3.2 million.

Fenaka was also contracted yesterday for the wiring at the hospital sitting area to the main cable board and distribution box at the Dr. Abdul Samad Memorial Hospital. The project was contracted for MVR 132,311 to be completed within a month.
