The Maldivian Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdulla Shahid met with acting CEO of the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) - Distribution, Saeed Mubarak Al Rashdi.

The Foreign Ministry reported that discussions were held during this meeting regarding strengthening ties between the two nations in areas of business. It was also reported that there were conversations referring to areas in Maldives where ADNOC could possibly invest.

The CEO and Managing Director of Maldives State Trading Organization PLC. (STO), Hussain Amru Mohamed Rashad was present at the discussions. Director at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Waris Saeed also accompanied Minister Shahid during the meeting.
