The Jamaluddin School (JS) office has been closed after the school Principal and the Administrator have tested positive for COVID-19.
One Online has learned that the Jamaluddin School office closed sometime this morning.
A large number of the senior staff have tested positive from Jamaluddin School with the first reported case was the Deputy Principal of the school followed by a leading teacher and now the school’s Principal and the Administrator.
Sources have told One Online that the school currently have only four of the 11 leading teaching attending their duties as the others are in quarantine.
The Principal of JS, Hassan Mohamed told One Online today that the decision to close the school’s office was made as a precautionary measure. He said that the office work is handled by the Principal, Administrator and about six clerical staff.
He said that they are all currently working from home and the COVID testing and other procedures are being followed as per he guidelines and decisions of the Health Protection Agency (HPA).
