Maldivian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Abdulla Shahid has met with the Foreign Ministers of three countries and Ambassadors to the Maldives from five different countries.

He held virtual meetings with the Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic, His Excellency Saleumxay Kommasith, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade and Immigration of Belize, Eamon Courtenay and the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Co-operative Republic of Guyana, Hugh Hilton Todd.

Minister Shahid met with the Non-Resident Ambassador of Thailand to the Maldives, Her Excellency Chulamanee Chartsuwan and the US Ambassador to the Maldives, Alaina B. Teplitz along with Ambassadors from China and India.

Foreign Minister Shahid met with the Russian Ambassador to the Maldives, Yuri Materiy and discussed further opportunities for Maldivian tuna in the Russian markets.
