High Court has said that the sentencing hearing in the money laundering trial against the former President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom will be broadcasted live.

Media official of the High Court, Ameen Faisal said that the hearing will be live broadcasted on the court’s YouTube channel. And the journalists have the opportunity to attend the hearing but the slots are limited.

The sentencing hearing is set for 2:15 p.m. today after rescheduling the hearing initially set for 14 January.
