The DC film Aquaman, released last month made huge gains at the Box Office. It has bee reported that the movie has made $1 billion at this time.

Lead star, Jason Momoa who reprises his role as Aquaman in the film has celebrated following the film's success.

Daily Mail reported Momo's social media post and reiterated that he made his first debut into the cinematic world through Baywatch. Momoa has reportedly said that he has now entered a billion dollar arena of the superhero franchises. Jason himself has declared that he is a billion dollar underdog.

Jason has said that any star only moves up the ladder through the love of his or her fans.

Jason thanked the film's executive producer Zac Snyder, for the opportunity of the role and also said that the director James Wan had created a "beautiful world" in the movie.

The cast of Aquaman is made up of Nicole Kidman, Amber Heard and Willem Dafoe.

Warner Brothers have reported that the film is their second highest earner. "The Dark Knight", released in 2012 brought in 1.08 billion at the box office, earning first place.
