Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has said that the Haa Dhaalu Atoll Nellaidhoo harbor development project is moving forward at a fast pace.

The company said that the project is well underway with 42 percent of the project now completed and five percent of the outer sea wall concrete work have finished as well.

Nellaidhoo harbor development project entails 62,863 cubic meters of harbor dredging and land reclamation, 331 meters of outer sea wall, 204 meters of inner sea wall, 50 meters of revetment along with 2,102 square meters of pavement, street and harbor lights installation.

The project was contract to MTCC for MVR 47.62 million.
