As per the latest statistics revealed by the Ministry of Tourism, tourist arrivals for the first three days of 2021 has been clocked at 10,360.

This makes up about half of the number observed in October 2020.

The first day of January marked 2,005 tourist arrivals while the second and third days recorded over 4,000 arrivals each. The average tourist arrivals per day are now at 3,453

Tourism Ministry statistics show that Russia has been the market leader so far with 3,226 arrivals. Ukraine recorded 929 arrivals and India trailed behind at 778 arrivals.

There are 41,660 tourist beds currently in operation.

There are also 541 tourist facilities - including 141 resorts/marinas, 11 hotels, 130 liveaboards and 259 guesthouses currently in operation.
