Petrol prices lowered by 1 MVR and diesel prices lowered by 2 MVR.

A statement released by State Trading Organization (STO) PLC. said that the move was made to lower prices of petrol and diesel due to a decrease in fuel costs across the world.

As such, STO will be distributing one litre of petrol for MVR 10.19 while a litre of diesel will be sold for MVR 9.99. The organization reported that the price change will go into effect from 14 January 2019.

Current price of petrol is MVR 11.19 for a litre while a litre of diesel is MVR 11.99.
