State Trading Organization (STO) has advised public to be cautious about fake promotions run on social media in STOs name.

In a announcement addressing fake promotions being run on social media, STO stated that the company would only run promotions on their official pages. As such, STO would only contact customers for promotions from their call centre number 1422, the announcement read.

STO urged the public to practice caution and not share unverified posts on social media as well as to not participate in such.
