Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has said that a large portion of the Laamu Atoll Fonadhoo road development project has been completed.

Taking to Twitter today, MTCC said that an overall 72 percent of the project progress and the ABC laying works and asphalt laying works for the project was commenced on 24 December 2020.

The project entails 27,848 square meters of asphalt, draining system, speed breakers and installation of road signs on an area of 10,205 meters.

MTCC was contracted the project for MVR 25.5 million.
