Vice President Faisal Naseem has inaugurated the Breakfast Program for schools across Maldives today.

While the program was officiated by VP Naseem at Ameeniya School, the Minister for Education Dr. Aishath Ali also joined the ceremony.

The pilot Breakfast Programs will be initially held at 25 schools.

Schools where the program is to be held include:

The Minister for Education said that the Breakfast Program has started in 25 different schools this term. She said that all schools in Maldives will conduct the Program by the second school term of this year.

Food will be provided for students under 10 different menus. The menus include:

  • Roshi, Milk and Vegetable Mashuni
  • Roshi, Pumpkin Mashuni and Milk
  • Roshi, Eggplant Mashuni and Milk
  • Rolls, Baked beans and Milk
  • Milk, Omelette and Sandwich
  • Milk and cheese sandwich
  • Milk, bread and peanut butter.
