Health Emergency Operations Center (HEOC) has decided to hold a special press conference vaccine at 1 p.m. this afternoon.

The HEOC usually holds the daily update press conferences at night and holds daytime press conference in emergencies and special notifications.

One Online has learned that today’s HEOC press conference is related to important information regarding the COVID-19 vaccine.

While HEOC has set a press conference on the COVID-19 for this afternoon, the relevant authorities have been making preparations to administer the vaccine when it becomes available.

The President, Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has recently said that the vaccine will be brought in early next year and assured that everyone living in the Maldives will be receiving the COVID-19 vaccine.
