The partnership opportunity has been opened for the world’s first nationwide loyalty program, Maldives Border Miles program.

Maldives Immigration said that tourism facilities and other tourism-related businesses in the Maldives can join the program as a partner without a fee.

Media Officer of Immigration, Mifthaah Mohamed said that interested parties may reach out to the Immigration via [email protected] and the Immigration will contact them and both parties can discuss the benefits and other related matters regarding the program.

He further said that opening for partnership with the program at a time where the economy is suffering amid the COVID-19 pandemic would give a chance for businesses to grow.

And so, the official website of the Border Miles will be launching in December with the information on all the partners of the program.

The Maldives Border Miles inaugurated by cooperation between Immigration, Tourism Ministry, Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) and the Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL) is the first program of its kind and offers three packages, the Bronze package “Aida”, Silver package “Anthara” and the Gold package “Abaarana”.

The program is designed to award points to tourists crossing the Maldivian borders. And so, tourists visiting on special occasions and acquiring various services from the partners would receive points while the tourists in the program have a special counter at Velana International Airport with a number of fast-track services.
