After the lifting of some COVID-19 restrictions, Ministry of Economic Affairs has said that cafés and restaurants are now authorized to operate from 4:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.
The announcement today said that café, canteens and restaurants can be opened from 4:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.Until yesterday, the business hours were restricted to 4 a.m. to 10 30 p.m. as a measure against the spread of COVID-19.
Economic Ministry said that business operating directly to the public need to follow the regulations set by the Health Protection Agency (HPA) which includes distancing of three feet and meeting with the capacity limits.
The precautionary curfew in the Male’ City area was changed to 12 a.m. to 4 a.m. in an announcement made yesterday.
