Minister of National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure, Mohamed Aslam has said that the 52 houses being built for 52 different families in Haa Dhaalu Nolhivaraumfaru will be given to the families next month.

The housing units being developed on the island are for the 52 families that still require housing after the migration project of 211 where people were moved to Nolhivaramfaru from Faridhoo, Kuburudhoo and Maavaidhoo.

Responding to a question from the MP for Nolhivaramfaru, Mohamed Nasheed regarding the housing units at the Parliament, Minister Aslam said that the units will be completed and handed over to the families in early December.

And the funds are included in the budget for the next year to resume work of the 100 houses and the bid process for those are underway.
